Happy Birthday U.S. Navy Seabees

In honor of the Seabees’ birthday today, we’re highlighting a great example of teamwork and engineering in action.
During a 2015 U.S. European Command exercise, Air Force and Air National Guard Civil Engineers worked alongside Navy Seabees and Israeli military engineers on a project that accomplished much more than building facilities.
Together, they:- Built command and operations centers for joint military teams
- Combined Air Force and Navy engineering units to work as one team
- Used local resources to complete the project more efficiently
- Strengthened coordination between U.S. and Israeli forces
The result was stronger U.S.–Israel defense cooperation and valuable real-world training for the Airmen and Sailors involved.
